Politicos and medical experts are cautiously, gently and patiently urging people to rethink their Thanksgiving plans for 2020 as COVID-19 continues to rage out of control.
However, Kansas City's top doc isn't leaving any room for ambiguity.
To wit . . .
IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS, DR. REX PRESCRIBES A PAUSE ON THANKSGIVING!!!
Here's his advice via tweet . . .
"The best way to show gratitude during Thanksgiving is to not spread COVID to guests. You can get together for Thanksgiving in 2021."
As always, to be fair, the blunt declaration provides a welcomed respite from locals tiptoeing around the tough call for families.
"The question is not whether #COVID19 will impact you, but when—and how much?"
Still, both city hall leaders seem to be on the same page when it comes to postponing a traditional Thanksgiving get together.
And so, given that turkey day shouldn't inspire partisan rancor but will likely lead to more than a few interesting theories and pronouncements . . .
