KANSAS CITY CORPORATE JOURNALISM CUTBACKS: BUYOUTS CONTINUES AT FOX4 AS SPORT NEWSIES CALL IT QUITS!!!
Last night Kansas City sports legend Al Wallace announced his retirement after an illustrious 40-year career.
That's him on the far left of the lead photo for those who don't know.
Social media says longtime Fox4 sports & news guy Jason Lamb is also out.
Amid the WDAF sale to Nexstar it's clear that heads are rolling and the retirement of weather dude Mike Thompson was simply the first to start the TV news bloodletting.

Buyouts are about the best they can hope for.
Just please don't look for jobs in local government.

ReplyDeleteI became a ch 4 person years ago when ch 5 dropped sports. Different era now. 2 all sports radio stations plus Twitter sports info galore. The TV sportsfolks have little impact.
