TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! LEGISLATOR BOB SPENCE ANTI-WEED LAW CHOKES AS JACKSON COUNTY MARIJUANA REFORM RESOLUTION GETS ROLLING!!!

Just like the rest of the nation, Jackson County is quickly reconsidering their stance on marijuana law reform.

Let's not forget that just a few months ago former Prosecutor and Jackson County Exec Mike Sanders was eager to give Midtown politico Jeremy LaFaver a pass when it came to marijuana indiscretion.

And now . . . Here's the aftermath of a failed Jackson County weed crackdown . . .

A KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTER isn't just blowing smoke when he offers a bit of follow-up to the weed legislation the mainstream media didn't bother to update . . . Along with an interesting preview.

Check it:

"Mr. Spence's resolution did not have a second, and was tabled. Here's a countervailing resolution in the works with the help of a more sympathetic legislator . . ."

Even better . . .

KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS OFFER US A LOOK AT THE FIRST DRAFT OF AN UPCOMING JACKSON COUNTY MARIJUANA LAW REFORM RESOLUTION!!!

This is just another important sign that the County Exec might have been right in giving his politico colleague a pass and maybe the rest of his constituents deserve the same kind of leniency for a habbit that's reportedly far less dangerous than booze and more likely akin to chewing bubble gum.

Here's the FIRST DRAFT FULL TEXT and yet another sign that KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS smoke the competition . . .

PROPOSED JACKSON COUNTY PRO-WEED RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the residents and elected officials of the State of Missouri are urged to consider the success or failure of the current policy of marijuana prohibition; and,

WHEREAS, research demonstrates that marijuana has substantial medical value for those suffering from cancer, HIV/AIDs, PTSD, and other severe illnesses and conditions; and,

WHEREAS, voters in 20 states have approved the restricted use of marijuana for medical purposes, and voters in two states have approved of the regulated and taxed sale of marijuana to all adults of 21 years of age or older; and

WHEREAS, criminal penalties for simple marijuana possession can jeopardize an individual’s student loans and employment, and furthermore expose non-violent offenders to the risk of incarceration; and,

WHEREAS, the significant racial bias in marijuana enforcement is demonstrated by the fact that blacks in Jackson County are arrested for marijuana at 2.2 times the rate of whites, leading to significant racial disparities in incarceration and post-incarceration outcomes; and

WHEREAS, the criminal prosecution of non-violent marijuana offenders are clogging our criminal justice system, requiring substantial resources of time and public money that could be used towards other, more effective, initiatives to improve public safety; and

WHEREAS, the unregulated, illegal market for marijuana in Missouri attracts dangerous criminals and violent Mexican cartels; and

WHEREAS, in the first five days of 2014, state-regulated marijuana shops in Colorado grossed over $5 million in sales, and that the marijuana industry is projected to generate over $100 million in tax revenue for the state of Colorado this year; and,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature supports assessing the effectiveness of marijuana prohibition and its alternatives.

  1. It's about time the county focused on something a little bit more worthwhile. This should make the election fun.

Weed has more carcinogins than a cigarette, and dumbs you down.

Talking to pot heads is enlightening..."like, uh, yeah, its wild,man"...

    It make you dopey.

That's why they call it dope, dope.

    3. I am a physician, I have always grown and smoked my own since high-school...yeahhhhh...it is wild man, real wild? I chose that over alcohol and cigarettes. Do any of you realize that caffeine is also addictive. If booze and tobacco are legal and so too should be weed. And yes, "dope" is meth, herein or cocaine not weed? Religion tried to outlaw booze before; some argue that contributed greatly to The Great Depression. It is exciting to think what legalization would do to our economy. You also need to understand the forces at play. There are so many lobbies who have never wanted to legal. Pharmaceutical, prisons, law enforcement and cotton!

  3. If it's all about tax revenue legislatures should give smokers more respect. Taxes from smokers and that huge agreement with the tobacco companies have been balancing government budgets and paying for children's health insurance for decades.

Let us not forget that aged Jefferson City Whore and County Legislator Crystal Williams and her husband Richard Spiedel have close ties to three high-profile potheads: Gunner Hand, Jeremy LaFavor and Lisa Honn. Does Crystal "deal?" Has Crystal ever submitted to a drug test where the results were made public?

    1. Those "niggers" or any race could break into your home rob you. But you may not get justice because they're using your tax dollars and thier time to bring marijuana offenders to justice.

  6. Mr. Spence, Please follow up on this effort by introducing a bill that would institute a manditory drug testing program for County Legislatures with the results made public. If you cannot find a second for that reasonable motion, then each of the silent crowd will be admitting their illegal lifestyles. Make them answer questions. Drugs KILL.

  7. The real question is whether or not law enforcement is willing to give up on the very profitable practice of asset forfeiture. Oh yeah, and they might have to give up some of the militarization that they so love.

It is only because when I was young and much more attractive I used to be paid to fuck and suck politicos. Then I got caught in a very ugly affair with a married guy named Steve and some of the politicos treated me like a flea infested rat. But still I managed to turn tricks until my bod just went to hell like all old ladies bodies do. I suppose all the smokin, drinkin and tokin do not help but at my age you try to forget things. That's all. Now bring mommy her vibrator and that pack of batteries from Costco. You have to get ready for school and it is getting late. You males are so stupid and useless.

  23. While the legislature jacks off over issues like this, I hear that several officers of the Assessment Department were fired when it was discovered they "spent" the entire day masturbating and chatting in Internet chat rooms. Three guys were fired last fall at the same time. One of the offices still is not available for use because it was so covered in jizz. No supervisor ever walked in to find out what was going on for years.

Please Bob. Quit your grandstanding on stupid issues. Apply some oversight to Calvin and the gang.
