The sideshow incident lasted around 30 minutes, leaving behind significant damage.
The intersection art was unveiled in September, marking a milestone in the Wornall Road construction project.
“It’s been under construction for over a year now, I feel like, and for it to finally be done and then someone to just come in and tear it all up. I was so proud to see that (art) there, and now it’s scarred,” said a resident, who lives in Waldo.
