Meanwhile, most suspect that this is really just a noise reduction plan for luxury living space given that downtown already has ample "green space" that's mostly filled with homeless people.

Officials hope a portion of the park can be completed before soccer fans arrive in Kansas City for the 2026 World Cup . . . he recent funding makes for a total of $129.2 million raised, just shy of the $135 million that city officials previously said they need to get construction moving."
