Downtown Kansas City South Loop Cover Stays Losing Federal Funds

One more time for the cheap seats . . .

FEDS DON'T WANT TO FUND KANSAS CITY'S SOUTH LOOP SCHEME!!!

This week transit cash failed to come through and it looks like so many boosters inside the loop will have to find another way to fund this sketchy scheme to keep the plebs underground. 

This is exceptionally important now because the South Loop cover seems to be a big part of new downtown stadium designs. 

Check the money line:

"The four-block green space atop Interstate 670, between Wyandotte Street and Grand Boulevard, was not among 132 projects nationwide approved for planning or construction funds through the U.S. Department of Transportation's Reconnecting Communities & Neighborhoods Grant Program. The department on Wednesday announced $3.33 billion in awards, after using Inflation Reduction Act funds to expand the discretionary program from a 2022 pilot."
