KC Tenants Victory Over Chiefs & Royals Threatens Paradigm Shift

Just so we're clear . . .

Kansas City Voters should know who they are supporting when they cast their ballot on April 2nd.

Thankfully, this cowtown's rising star political activist group is being very clear about where they stand and what they plan to do . . . Here's a forthright quote they recently posted on X/Twitter:

"Just so the record is clear--- KC Tenants was the first group to come out against the stadium sales tax, and we are an *organized* opposition group. Thousands of doors, engaging tens of thousands of voters. We don't just talk about it, we are about it."

Over the past few years KC Tenants have overshadowed most local political groups and advocate for a variety of progressive causes beyond housing:

- KC Tenants was at the forefront of local "defund the police" movement and demanded more accountability from local law enforcement along with opposing the tenure of former KCPD Chief Rick Smith.

- Let's not forget a leader from KC Tenants spoke out against "genocidal intentions of Israel" after a terrorist attack

- KC Tenants is generally in support of most progressive causes and ranks diversity, equity and inclusion at the top of their priority list.

Agree or disagree with their aims . . . Those three points provide a fair assessment of the aims.

Accordingly . . .

JACKSON COUNTY QUESTION 1 "NO VOTE" VICTORY FOR KC TENANTS THREATENS "TRANSFORMATIONAL" CHANGE IN LOCAL POLITICS!!!

Sure . . .

They falsely claimed victory in last year's council election but voter turnout was historically low and they overstated their influence by backing incumbents who didn't face any real challenge.

However . . .

This Jackson County Question 1 vote is a more accurate test of KC Tenants and their influence.

And so, our www.TonysKansasCity.com insiders contend . . .

KC TENANTS BEATING ROYALS & CHIEFS SIGNALS PROGRESSIVE REVIVAL OVER LONGTIME TRADITION!!!

For the record . . . TKC isn't telling anybody how to vote . . .

What we're saying and attempting to emphasize with this post is merely a matter of fact:

Voters aligning against the team are also giving KC Tenants unprecedented power over local politics. Elections, in fact, have consequences and a win this big would plunge Kansas City into an era wherein activists controlled local policy with more authority than old school business leaders.

For some . . . This would be a welcomed change.

Other skeptical souls might ask:

What are the long term ramifications of progressive activists dictating the local economy, development, public policy and urban planning???

One way or another, we'll find out very soon.

Developing . . .
