We talked about this conspiracy theory earlier in the year . . .

Basically, pushing women's sports might be a soul crushing bit of local propaganda to help compensate if/when the Royals & Chiefs find nicer digs in other parts of town or further away.

More importantly . . .

LOCAL POLITICOS & MSM INSIST ON FORCING THE SKETCHY NARRATIVE THAT KANSAS CITY LOVES LADY SPORTS EVEN IF REVENUE & ATTENDANCE DON'T MATCH UP WITH NFL & MLB OFFERINGS!!!

We've seen this before . . .

For years local media was "encouraged" to play up the enthusiastic crowd at the P&L District. Recently, consistent loses of MILLIONS every year have curbed a great deal of local excitement about that losing deal.

Now . . .

Kansas City media and politicos must sell lady sports as the future of Chiefs & Royals seems murkier.
