Only Westside Stadium Can Keep Royals In Kansas City Proper

At this point in the discussion, there's no point ignoring the obvious . . .

KANSAS CITY IS LOSING THE FIGHT TO KEEP THE ROYALS FROM LEAVING TO NKC!!!

Sorry but it just doesn't look good for our home town. NKC has more politicos pushing for the project and the Axiom campaign is far more convincing than local negative insider chatter.

However, there might be a fix . . .

Perspective from above our pay grade . . . 

"Nobody is interested in the East Village site. It's done. But here's a question that needs to be asked to all of our civic leaders: Why is Kansas City refusing to develop in one of the most vibrant parts of the city where so many other projects have achieved success?!?!"

That's a good way to think about it . . . 

Again, it's a fact that the East Village site seems dead in the water and completely uninspired. 

Meanwhile, we'll remind readers that we've been talking about the Westside option since the outset of the discussion.

IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS BEFORE KANSAS CITY ROYALS CLAIM THEY'LL DECIDE THEIR NEXT STADIUM LOCATION . . . LOOK FOR MORE TALK ABOUT THE WESTSIDE OPTION TO TAKE HOLD RATHER THAN SEE THE HOME TEAM MOVE OUT!!!
