Patrick Mahomes Keeps Killing Planet With Private Planes

The Kansas City Chiefs two-time Super Bowl winner is soooooo important . . .

How important . . .

Soooooooooooooooo important that he's above the fray when it comes to private plane waste.

Background to get us all up to speed . . .

"Private aircraft still emit more than 33m tonnes of greenhouse gases, more than the country of Denmark, and because they carry so few people they are five to 14 times more polluting than commercial planes, per passenger, and 50 times more polluting than trains, researchers have found."

Now, don't get it twisted by our snarky post title . . .

We're not REALLY arguing climate change one way or another.

But there is no denying that private planes are the most wasteful way for any human to travel.

Before our aspiring billionaire reactionaries get all high & mighty . . . Let's not forget that smarter conservatives know that jet fuel is subsidized by taxpayers in order to keep costs artificially low.

Strangely . . .

There aren't any local environmental groups protesting Paddy . . . Probably because they know that football fans don't care . . . In fact, they might care about the threat of skyfall even less than silly arguments against "the chop" or the Chiefs moniker.

Nevertheless . . . We noted the private jet promo dealings of Paddy Mahomes when other celebs were taking heat for their PJ extravagance.

Nevertheless . . .

Kansas City's elite QB remains unscathed by any criticism from so-called local environmentalists who are far more dedicated to crafting bike lanes and taking away SUV privileges from suburban housewives . . .

“Airshare was one of my first partnerships – they believed in me from the very beginning of my professional career as a starting quarterback,” said Patrick Mahomes. “We have both experienced a lot of success over the last five years. As my travel needs have evolved, Airshare has always been there for me and my family. Now more than ever, I appreciate how flying private allows me to get the most out of my limited time during the offseason. I’m excited to continue our partnership.”
