TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! NO CONFIDENCE VOTE CONFRONTS BRIAN PLATT!!!

Right now thanks to KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS we're getting a first hand look news from behind the scenes of a 12th & Oak decision that will impact the future of Kansas City.

Here's the word . . .

KANSAS CITY ORGANIZERS STAND READY TO SUPPORT COUNCIL LADY MELISSA ROBINSON'S RESOLUTION & VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE IN CITY MANAGER BRIAN PLATT!!!

Remember that earlier this week we reported deets on the META controversy that not only embroiled the Northland but also revealed a rift betwixt East side leadership and the mayor's office given this unwavering support of city manager Brian Platt.

The story behind the story . . . Firings in the City Manager's office have touched a never amongst urban leaders and (recently) the Mayor either didn't care or didn't want to smooth things over.

Now one of the strongest ladies on council threatens to step into the fray with an authoritative voice.

Here's a preview . . .

A local leadership group is calling on members to rush to the council meeting today in order to support a power move that will likely lead to the departure of the city manager.

Again, we wouldn't have this info without KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS and we can only hope this information will better inform the discussion and voters going into the election.

RE: Urban Summit-Call to Action!

Dear Urban Summit Members,

Your presence is needed today at City Hall at 2:45 pm to show support as our Councilwoman Melissa Robinson introduces a RESOLUTION OF NO CONFIDENCE IN CITY MANAGER BRIAN PLATT. We need at least 20 people to show up and hold signs in support. Signs will be provided for you on arrival. We understand this is short notice. However, if you can make the time to support this important action on behalf of our Urban Summit and our community, we sincerely appreciate it.

From our perspective . . . This is a LONG TIME COMING.

And, honestly, we're surprised the city manager was able to withstand Chris Hernandez calling out his alleged encouragement to "lie" in public.

However . . .

Once again we're impressed with Council Lady Melissa Robinson. She lead the way on listening to community outcry on Truman Road bike lanes and now, once again, she's listening to her constituents when it comes to complaints about the City Manager's office.

Developing . . .
