Kansas City Blog Honored For Fake News About Jack The Ripper & Sex Dungeon Fear

Again . . .

For the sake of public safety we feel like it's necessary to remind our readership that the threat of sex dungeons against MOST people is pretty slim to none.

Our mockery of Jack the Ripper hysteria spread by way of Chinese-powered social media has helped to push the topic out of the spotlight given that so many lazy newsies were desperate to hear testimony of fear and loathing without bothering to learn basic facts . . . Like the cops have debunked the recent serial killer Internets sensationalism at least 4 times.

Yes . . . Local streets are dangerous and deadly for a lot of people including young women battling drug addiction . . . And sadly, the fight against "systemic racism" and the desperate search for earned media likely won't help their case.

"The reception from the community has been positive since the first article was published in July 2021. He noted there had been a need for an outlet that had an active digital presence. The positive reception has also kept up his momentum to build the Kansas City Defender. He’s managed to secure sponsorships with organizations like The Urban League of Kansas City. People can also become a member and donate to support the publication. He also has plans to include website ads for Black-owned businesses."

The Kansas City Defender, reaching young Black communities currently underserved by mainstream media

Ryan Sorrell and his team at The Kansas City Defender rely on two methods to reach young people. First, they know that each social media platform has a different ethos, so they personalize content for each brand. Second, they have a broad content mix, blending hard news and culture stories with headlines such as "10 Best Black-Owned Restaurants."
