Former Kansas City Morning Anchor Victorious: Call Him CONGRESSMAN Mark Alford

A local victory and ascendance we all watched unfold.

With 89% of precincts reporting as of 10:15 p.m., Alford has 75% of the vote, while Democrat Jack Truman has 22% and Libertarian Randy Langkraehr has 2%.

Republican Mark Alford wins Missouri's 4th Congressional District seat

RAYMORE - Mark Alford has been elected to serve in Missouri's 4th Congressional District, the Associated Press projects. He's replacing Rep. Vicky Hartzler, who has served as the district's representative since 2011. With 89% of precincts reporting as of 10:15 p.m., Alford has 75% of the vote, while Democrat Jack Truman has 22% and Libertarian Randy Langkraehr has 2%.
