Kansas City Serial Killer Rumor Redux Amid 'Missouri Sex Dungeon' Kidnapping Investigation

A developing local crime story is now part of a disputed local narrative . . .

Quick recap . . .

A local blog quoted a "bishop" regarding a local serial killer. The KCPD responded and debunked their claims.

Point of fact and like it or not . . .

It's important to reference backstory and "real estate history" when dealing with many local preachers.

However . . .

A recent Excelsior Springs investigation of a horrific kidnapping case earned national "SEX DUNGEON" headlines and reignites the argument.

And this brings us to a recent post . . . In fairness, here's the highlight from the KC Defender blog . . .

"While the investigation remains early and more details will follow, there are now three major confirmed facts which clearly dispute KCPD’s earlier statements; (1) a Black woman was kidnapped, raped and tortured, (2) she was picked up on Prospect Avenue in early September (during the exact time-frame that community members began expressing concerns of numerous missing and murdered Black women in this exact area, (3) she said her friends “did not make it out” and were killed by Timothy Haslett Jr."

Credit where it's due . . . The bloggers now quote KCPD and police offer perspective . . .

Kansas City Police Department: “We base our investigations on police incident reports of criminal activity. We do still maintain that there is no indication that what you guys reported was accurate and there was no indication that there was anything that supported that claim. We share what information we can publicly, many times from the scene, of incidents of violent crimes when there is a report or an investigation underway, there had and has not been anything that corresponded to your reports on social media and the web which is why we refuted that report and said that the claims were unfounded.”

As for TKC . . .

We'll wait and see what the investigation uncovers.

Sorry, but a great many of our friends on the East side ALSO choose to wait and VERIFY what a controversial Bishop has to say before taking it on faith alone . . .

KCPD Said Missing Black Women Reports In KC Were "Completely Unfounded." Less Than A Month Later, One Escaped After Being Kidnapped From Prospect & Tortured in a Basement For Over A Month - Kansas City Defender

The bombshell revelations and horrifically tragic events explicitly disprove KCPD's earlier statement that there are no missing Black women from this area and that the potential of a KC serial killer is "completely unfounded." The woman also told investigators her friends "didn't make it out" and had been murdered by the man.

Woman who escaped Missouri sex dungeon claims captor had other victims

Missouri police are investigating whether the sicko who allegedly held a woman captive for a month as his sex slave tormented other victims, a report said. The development was revealed after the 22-year-old woman who escaped Timothy Haslett Jr.'s sex dungeon last week claimed to her rescuers that the suspect killed two of her friends, the Daily Mail reported.
