Kansas City Police Investigate After Brutal Video Of Westport Attack On Woman

On Monday we talked about this tragic topic of violence against women in Westport and now police are searching for suspects following more video evidence.

The reality is that a litany of clips are circulating online . . . Translation: A great many people just stood around and watched some guy sucker punch a woman. 

Westport isn't what it used to be and tragically, that's why more people are staying away.

KCPD: Assault Captured On Video In Westport

"A video that has surfaced on social media of an assault over the weekend in Westport where a woman was assaulted.

"We have received a report of this incident from the victim and our assault unit is investigating.

"We have shared the video to our social media pages in an attempt to identify the suspects."

More deets and a link to the video . . . 

"We are looking for the two male suspects (wearing jeans) in this aggravated assault which took place Sunday morning shortly after 3 a.m. near 40th & Pennsylvania."
