Justice Horn & Pete Mundo Debate Myth-Busted KC Serial Killer Aftermath

This week social media rumors forced KCPD to publicly correct rampant speculation and dangerous online gossip that diverted valuable public attention away from our worsening Kansas City homicide crisis.

In the aftermath of that discussion there has been a worthwhile consideration about online "news" and the responsibility of journalists and activists.

Conservative talker Pete Mundo has been adamant about demanding accountability . . .

He rightfully notes that it's "important for local media to also call out hack outlets who start these rumors . . ."

KCMO radio goes on to note . . .

"Justice Horn ran with it because he saw KC Defender's report. Plenty of others did as well."

And that comment evoked this retort . . .

"You know what’s crazy to me is that a grown a** man keeps up with me . . . Speaking ill on my name, but not being man enough to invite me on—that’s what little men do."

And here's the thing . . .

TKC respects and admires the work of both activist Justice Horn AND conservative talker Pete Mundo. ACTUALLY, we think a debate or even just a tough interview might help ENLIGHTEN denizens of our Kansas City discourse.

In the aftermath of sensationalized fake news disproved and with midterm elections quickly approaching: Conversations betwixt progressives & conservatives should take place more often.

With mainstream, legacy media in decline . . . Kansas City voters shouldn't be forced to hop betwixt isolated bubbles ranting against one another in order to participate in our Democracy with as much info as possible.

You decide . . .
