Today the home team sacrificed one of their very best players amid culture war and fallout from harsh words amid questions over COVID vaxxing. 

Let's not forget that boo bird fans expressed their disdain for the dude after his decision not only to forgo the vaxx but also tease that he was open to taking the poke if he was with a better team.

The Royals have traded Whit Merrifield to the Toronto Blue Jays for infielder/outfielder Samad Taylor and pitcher Max Castillo, according to MLB.com reporter Mark Feinsand. Taylor was ranked the #16 prospect in the Blue Jays farm system according to MLB Pipeline, #23 by Baseball America, and #33 by Fangraphs.
