Kansas City Isn't Going Back To The Office: Remote Work FOREVER!?!

The pandemic has changed American middle-class work FOREVER and now on-site labor is mostly the domain of people lower on the food chain.

This isn't good news and merely serves as a precursor to WORSENING WHITE COLLAR OUTSOURCING from corporate America. 

Don't worry the plight of the fading American middle-class gets even more dismal . . . 

The market for office space will continue to decline . . . Remember that the FAILED Waddell & Reed HQ is still desperately seeking tenants at discount rates.

Here's more bad news gleaned from otherwise satisfying report via KCBJ . . . 

Before the pandemic, more than 25% of Farmers Insurance Group employees in the Kansas City area already worked on a full-time remote basis. That figure now sits at upward of 95%, and appears positioned to stay that way, as the home, auto and small business insurer accounts for worker preferences.

"Since March of 2020 when we transitioned 90% of our workforce to a virtual environment, we've seen our teams consistently demonstrate effectiveness in serving customers, and we’ve listened as many have told us they appreciate working with increased flexibility," Farmers spokeswoman ​​​​​Carly Kraft said in an email.
