Kansas City Chiefs Confront End Of An Era

Earlier this week our blog community considered the tragic fact that, this might be the last chance for the Kansas City Chiefs to win a Super Bowl for a very long time.

Just like all things . . . Change is inevitable.

This time around the most obvious sign is that one of the top coaches for the Chiefs is likely moving forward with a better opportunity.

"This marks the fourth straight season that the Bieniemy has drawn at least one team’s interest to become its head coach. Seven teams were reported to have interviewed the offensive coordinator during last year’s offseason, but every team went in another direction."

Most agree he's overdue for a top spot.

Accordingly, here's a quick TKC news link collection on the topic . . .

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Doug Pederson lasted five seasons in Philadelphia and Matt Nagy just four in Chicago before they ultimately were fired. That hasn't diminished the interest teams have in Andy Reid's offensive coordinators.

The case for Eric Bieniemy to be Denver Broncos next head coach

The Denver Broncos are beginning to get deep into the interview process as they search for the team's next head coach. On Wednesday, the Broncos completed their most recent interview with Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon. For the record, that makes Gannon, Dan Quinn, Kellen Moore, Nathaniel Hackett, Luke Getsy and Aaron Glenn as those interviewed by the team thus far.

Why the Denver Broncos should cross Eric Bienemy off of their List

Barring any last-minute additions, this is expected to be the last interview conducted by the Broncos. Since last season, the buzz around the league has been loud on why Bieniemy has yet to land a head coaching gig in the NFL.
