Kansas City Buck O'Neil Bridge Shut Down Begins . . .

We're starting this post off with an image of the imagined "linear park" because the scam is a nice thought whilst we look down the barrel(s) of soul crushing construction and even worse local driving.

A few deets about the construction process . . .

Crews will close the ramp from northbound I-35 to eastbound I-70/Broadway Blvd. from 6 a.m., Saturday January 15 until 6 p.m., Sunday, January 16 for tree clearing work.

This is all part of constructing a new Buck O’Neil Bridge that can be reasonably maintained, while providing a safe, connected, and accessible transportation facility that improves system performance.

The new Missouri River Bridge will cost close to $220 million dollars to construct and expected to be completed by 2024.
