Councilman Kevin O'Neill Chides Council Lady Shields Over F-Bomb

Big mistake.

O'Neill has never been anything but a hack for hire . . . I know this because we can smell our own.

Meanwhile, Katy Shields has a Rolodex bigger than God and she is exceptionally petty. 

Shields knows EVERYONE WHO MATTERS in Kansas City whereas Mr. O'Neill is mostly familiar with the dollar menu at the McDonald's near his house. 

In an upcoming election cycle wherein Mr. O'Neill has already built a long list of enemies . . . Adding the 4th District council lady to a long list of people he has pissed off isn't a good idea. 

Here's somebody using Twitter to his own detriment . . . 

Councilman Kevin O'Neill went to Twitter to react, saying Shields should apologize to the staff attorney and that Mayor Quinton Lucas should look into the situation.

"In a tense moment in Finance, a Councilperson berated one of our staff attorneys," O'Neill's Tweet said. "I can not tell you how disappointed I was. Our staff work their tales (sic) off and do not deserve to be berated in public by any of the elected officials. Mayor should take a hard look at this."

As we noted earlier, Shields apologized when she didn't have to . . .

Kansas City councilman condemns colleague's f-bomb toward staffer during public meeting

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- A Kansas City councilmember grew frustrated during a committee meeting Wednesday, profanely berating a staff attorney while city leaders voted on an ordinance about incentives on a housing project. The Finance, Governance and Public Safety Committee had just finished discussion on Ordinance 211077, concerning taxes used to support affordable housing in Midtown.
