Kansas City Chiefs Fans Debate 'Let's Go Brandon' Arrowhead Chant

Tonight's Kansas City Monday night football showdown features two mediocre teams attempting to battle their way out of the bottom of their respective divisions.

As always the local political chatter is far more important.

Accordingly . . .

DEBATE OVER THE 'LET'S GO BRANDON' CHANT DOMINATES TONIGHT'S DISCUSSION OF ROWDY KANSAS CITY CHIEFS FANS AT ARROWHEAD!!!

The discussion comes after a formerly popular baller denounced the Kansas City crowd as "the most toxic fan base" in the nation and then quickly, half-heartedly retracted the comment.

To be fair, recently crowd fights have overshadowed the horrible play of the team and the front office has been forced to ban superfans.

Nevertheless, here are a few popular comments on the "Let's Go Brandon" debate that deserve a bit of attention . . .

In defense of the Prez . . .

"If I I hear it, I'm calling security. There are a lot of young people in the crowd and that kind of vulgarity doesn't belong at the game. It's out of place anyway. The great thing about the Chiefs if that fans of all backgrounds can cheer for the home team. This is not a 'red state' event. There are just as many people who support President Biden in the crowd. The chant has no place at Arrowhead."

A quote we pulled from a rising star Superfan account . . .

"We've had half of the stadium yelling Let's Go Brandon for the entire season. I'm just disappointed that the news has chosen to ignore it. Just like they don't like showing the chop anymore. This is Kansas City. Chiefs Kingdom. Our fans are more important than you feelings."

Middle-of-the-road observation from our blog community. . .

"People are really planning on going to this game? Both of these teams suck. If you're not worried about being killed by a hit & run, then getting beaten to death is also a concern . . . It's going to be pouring freezing rain by halftime. No thanks."

And so, all of these concerns dominate our consideration of tonight's game along with a few relevant game day predictions and observations.

Consider this the MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL OPEN THREAD.
