This story deserves just a bit of context . . .
Since this blog has started, the Northland has wanted out and attempted to work toward de-annexation for more than a decade.
Now there's a bit of data to back up their plight . . .
"Kansas Citians north of the river have always felt shortchanged by City Hall. Now, a poll of more than 540 likely Northland Kansas City voters quantifies it. The survey found 41% support leaving the city."
More importantly . . .
If we consider the big picture and realize that the Missouri GOP super majority if Jeff City would GLADLY help to rip apart a Democratic stronghold . . . Then this moment is probably the closest that Kansas City has come to losing our neighbors on the nice side of bridge.
