Kansas City sees surge in shootings on July 4

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Amid the Fourth of July celebrations and fireworks, there were also 11 shootings Sunday night in Kansas City, Missouri. One shooting so far has been deadly, and victims in at least two more sustained life threatening injuries, according to KCPD. All 11 shootings occured between 10 p.m.


KCPD investigating overnight shootings that injured 10, killed 1

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) - The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department is investigating six different shootings that happened overnight in a little over three hours, which left 10 people injured and one person dead. The first in this string of shootings happened around 10:20 p.m. in the area of 69th and Swope Parkway.


Violent night in KC: Police respond to 11 shooting victims in overnight hours on Sunday, Monday

The Kansas City Police Department said it responded to 11 shooting victims - including one fatal - in the overnight hours on Sunday and Monday.KCPD said the shooting death occurred early Monday morning near police headquarters. The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m.
