Friday evening the Kansas City Missouri Police Department partnered with Hy-Vee food stores and the Harvesters Food Network to sponsor a free, drive through ham dinner giveaway at KCPD's East Patrol Campus located at 27th and Prospect. Prior to the event cars were lined up around the block waiting to get in and take advantage of the free offer.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Missouri has launched an online resource for people needing transportation to their COVID-19 vaccine appointments. The statewide resource called "Get a Ride" lists organizations that are offering rides. This week MO launched a new statewide transportation resource guide to expand COVID-19 vaccine access to rural, suburban and urban communities.

The push to free the container ship stuck in the Suez Canal continued into a fifth day Saturday as more than 300 ships on either side wait to pass through the blockage.
