Kansas City & Jackson County Jail Collab Suffers FAIL From The Start

Nearly two years after a HUMAN RIGHTS CRISIS at this old & busted facility was declared, there still isn't much progress or change . . .

Here's the latest chapter . . .

KCUR: The Possibility Of Kansas City And Jackson County Partnering On A New Jail Is Being Discussed

Deets:

"Since late 2019 a consulting group has been working on everything from where to build the new facility to the types of programs offered for inmates. But so far most members of the legislature know only two things; the project will cost at least $266 million and right now plans call for almost 1,200 beds. Some members suggest the process should be more open not only with them but the public."

  1. With Petersucker giving probation or out right dropping murder charges on the murderous blacks and all other criminals, the jail is nearly empty now so why do we still need a new one other than sLIE wanted it out of his downtown to have more developer giveaways for new buildings.

  2. Congratulations, Petersucker, you're a piece of shit.

By the way, I might mention I'm packing (didn't forget my KY, ha, ha) my U-Haul as we speak, for a move to Kansas City. I like the way things are shaping up there, and I believe I can be a big help to the LGBT and BLM communities. I look forward to meeting many of you. I've rented a home in the Northeast, and advised where to forward my EBT money. Rejoice Millie B's, you have a new customer! I'm so excited!!!! I will advise when settled in.

  4. Let KCMO build their own jail and JaxCo can fend for themselves. If you think KC is dysfunctional, take a look at the county. Without KCMO inmates and their associated fees, the county will be stuck building some sort of Mayberry-ish two cell facility.

  5. Ummmm, how about 5,000 beds and a new prosecutor?

Democrats are ok with rape for profit at the border. That's why they're ok with it here in KC.

"According to a stunning Fusion investigation, 80 percent of women and girls crossing into the U.S. by way of Mexico are raped during their journey. That’s up from a previous estimate of 60 percent, according to an Amnesty International report. "

  7. Don’t forget about the little girls drowning crossing the river, oh that’s right, the libtard media refuses to acknowledge anything about the border disaster.

  8. Inmates in Jackson County take an average of 2 years to come to trial. If that could be speeded up by 10%, the jail population could be reduced by 10%. Would a half dozen new lawyers in the prosecutors office cost less than a new $200 million jail?

  9. The current jail is relatively new.

Much of the trouble is sensationalized so the facility will be moved to provide space for more apartment development or a downtown stadium.
