'Likely a Death Sentence': Officials Fear Cold Weather Is Greater Risk for Homeless than Virus
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For weeks after he opened a daytime shelter for the homeless, Jae Bennett was fairly rigid about the building's 37-person capacity. The last thing he wanted was for a lapse in social distancing to cause the deadly coronavirus to spread among a population in which many people were in frail health.
affordable housing for all would solve this problem.
ReplyDeleteDidn’t the city sell houses for a dollar not long ago?
Delete^^Good! Then you pay for it out of your own pocket you fucking Socialist!
ReplyDeleteThe Mayor and Rex should be down at the convention center managing the place.
ReplyDeleteWhere is the health department? If it was a business they would be shutting it down.
ReplyDeleteNo housing is affordable if you are too lazy to get a job!
ReplyDeleteCHUDLEY, where you at?? Explain how Joey B says you don't need a job to get all the gov't goodies. You are right, we lost. Fuck your feelings and start explaining how it all works now bitch.
ReplyDeleteMaybe BLM could help out with all their millions ?
ReplyDeleteAnd why isn't there money for the arts? It's all supposed to be unicorns and rainbows now that Joe "won."

ReplyDeleteThey are going to have to burn the building when this is over.
ReplyDeleteThe smell in that place would probably knock a buzzard off a shit wagon or Chimpy off his mom which is pretty much the same thing.

ReplyDeleteThe KCMO Homeless Union has filed suit against Mayor Lucas and the City, claiming gross negligence and intentional misconduct, for luring their members into a super-spreader event. The City Legal Department is expected to punt and payout millions in damages!!!
Lock the door... turn on the gas jets. Rinse and repeat tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteThis is a sad situation, I'm just wondering if the health department is going to have any say over this...
ReplyDeleteThe flu/covid are going to be running rampant! Do they even have restrooms to accommodate this many people? I mean, there's a lot of things that raise concern.
Give them one way tickets to Florida.
ReplyDeleteHas security been figured out down there or do they still have the Black Panther group? Good work otherwise to give these folks a shelter from the storm, it’s brutal outside.
ReplyDeleteThey are going to have to remodel after this, but maybe that was the plan all along?
ReplyDeleteShould of used the Arrowhead Stadium suites since that is tax funded as well.
ReplyDeleteYep Silvestor, they sho did. Even called me to "bring it to my attention". But, all it took for even the average remodeler to say hell no was a quick drive through the surrounding neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteisn't the sprint center sitting idle?
