Kansas City Restaurant Variant: Walk Ups

Pandemic protocols are, in fact, the "new normal" and local food service is coping with an uncertain future by adapting their offerings.

Here's an example and a 2021 foodie custom in the making . . .

As dining restrictions continue, restaurants are embracing the walk-up window

When one door closes, a window opens - or something like that. For almost a year, restaurants and bars, caf├ęs and coffee shops have had to grapple with fluctuating dining restrictions and capacity limitations, and so, many have closed their dining rooms and installed walk-up windows to provide a seamless, contact-free to-go experience.

Just like McDonalds circa 1960. Except the burgers will be $12 instead of 12 cents.
