The pandemic is hitting Kansas City tenants hard, but the CDC eviction moratorium is also putting rental property owners in a tough spot. By steering their tenants toward organizations offering the financial assistance they need for rent and utilities everyone stays afloat.

  7. The moratorium on evictions will expire on 31 Dec; there never was one on paying. Renters who have been delaying their rent payments should contact their landlords immediately to see if they can make a deal, or face being evicted next month.

  8. Top pic = staged at the side door of the courthouse - entry leads to the basement in the Courthouse. It was business as usual at all other entry points. These folks shut down nothing.
