Police say suspect shot at them, ran away in Lenexa neighborhood

LENEXA, Kan. - Police have closed off several residential streets along a significant road as they search for someone they say shot at them early this morning. The incident happened at in the 8900 block of Haskins Street. Police said they found a suspect standing outside of a stolen car at about 1:50 a.m.

  1. The suspect is a Black male standing about 5-feet 10-inches tall with a stocky build and shoulder-length hair. He was last seen wearing black pants and a black sweatshirt.

  2. What is very interesting is that channel 4 ran his description at 7 a.m. at 8 a.m. the same story was reported without the subjects description, black male medium build shoulder length dreadlocks dressed in black

  7. Section 8 should be out in the country surrounded by barbed wire and guards. It's ruined many once-decent areas of town. The crime rate is always higher in those areas. Crime maps prove it.
