What do you imagine for the future of Downtown?
The first Imagine Downtown KC Virtual Community Workshop was carried out on July 14, 2020 - with 165 participants. Julie Pierce, Downtown Council chair, Mayor Quinton Lucas, and 4th District Councilman Eric Bunch delivered opening remarks to launch the community workshop. Their comments highlighted the importance of this planning process to Downtown's future.
Hmmm... a howling wilderness of failed bars and restaurants surrounded by Section 8 loft Apartments that haven't had any maintenance in a decade?
ReplyDeleteBut not long ago downtown was a vibrant diverse urban mecca with huge crowds of sophisticated loft and apartment residents enjoying the countless galleries, entertainment, and upscale restaurants.
