    What the hell.

    Damn shame.

Thought the violence would get better.

I see the cops are on the scene. I guess people weren't too scared to call them.

  3. Now that black people can get by with rioting and killing they know they can move forward and not worry about consequence. Was the mayor out there cheering them on?

  5. And not a peep from the hoards of "protestors", revs, or smilely selfies Lucas himself.
KCMO was slipping beneath the waves before Mr. Floyd died in Minneapolis, but the usual suspects have greatly accelerated the city's demise.
What passes for elected government in the city has been bullied into silence, kneeling, and apologizing for expressing any opinion other than something that meets the mob's approval.
And the same east side "leaders" who have brought those neighborhoods to their current sorry state are right back making the same self-serving demands.
There'll be at least the usual 150 murders in little KCMO this year and as usual 90+% of the victims will be black and not even half of them will ever be solved because of the lack of cooperation ith the police.
KCMO is a sucking chest wound on the entire region.

  14. One of the 5 died and now we are at 77. At this pace 190-200 homicides are not out of the question. Lucas and the council just fucked this city for years to come. The protesters demanded less policing, and that’s exactly what they will get. No more policing. With all of the distractions; Netflix, Amazon, Tic Toc, etc., cops can give the city what they asked for. When the cops became the enemy, the thugs took over. This isn’t a new story, it’s taken place all over the country. Every city where police became targets of politically motivated attacks crime went up. 200 will be the new benchmark soon. Who can blame the cops? Politicians won’t find a way to fix this, if they could Baltimore, St.Louis, Detroit, Chicago wouldn’t be in the mess they are in today.

  18. Watching the mayor turn his back on police yesterday ended everything. I had hoped that cooler minds would prevail, but the Mayor chose politics over reality. Ordinance changes and budget cuts and Jean Peters Baker have already caused the cops to quit stopping people. Get used to the term de-policing, the worst is yet to come.

  21. Kudos to "Ball of Confusion" and "Art Vandalay" (latex salesman?) above.

Do you know why historic racism persists?

Because most black people won't let go of it.

50 years after the Civil Rights movement, most blacks identify themselves as forever victims. They wear their self-imposed "victim" status as a badge of honor. Whoever complains the most, wins special recognition within the community.

Motivated blacks, as other races, can accomplish their goals and choose to live where they want. But lack of motivation is the problem. The national black community has been indoctrinated by self-pity, a media which constantly portrays them as helpless, black leadership which rides on their backs for personal political power, and the reinforced behavioral training that liberal America will rescue them if their wheels squeak loud enough.

Education is power, yet far too many blacks think school is a "white thing" and place little value on it. They set themselves up for failure.

Marriage is the foundation for stable life and raising children. A majority of the black community abandoned marriage a long time ago. If you want a group of people to perpetually struggle and remain an underclass, keep them uncommitted to each other and raise their children in single-mother households. Over the last 20 years, increasing numbers of black men have abandoned black females, so their community is even further decimated.

In KCMO, as across all urban centers in this nation, young black men account for a preponderance of homicide violence. Raised in fatherless homes, amidst a culture that promotes violence, drugs, misogyny, anti-police sentiment, self-hatred, and dropping out of school, would we expect a different result?

You can face reality and begin making positive change from within the community, or you can continue clinging to your cherished victim identification and point the finger outward at others. One path leads to liberation and self-responsibility, the other keeps you enslaved in your own prison-construct.

  26. Obviously another Amish Mafia drive-by.

This was not, by the way, even remotely a "mass shooting". It was simply another armed altercation between street people and this time, the law of aversges was momentarily repealed and five got in the way of a bullet.

  27. I can’t breathe.... 75 black on black murders and nobody in the black community gives one shit. As a white person why should I?

Where’s the cleave? Where’s the fat fake revs? In the basement of a ghetto church plotting their mlk blvd comeback?

Where’s all the handsomely paid anti crime groups? Not their problem apparently.

Where’s Lucas? Kneeling in front of blm and taking the oath of allegiance, probably.

Where’s Petersucker? On her personal crusade to hand out probation to every black criminal and murderer in Jackson county, you betcha.

    What a fucking disaster.

  31. @1:27, since blacks have no semblance of culture, whites have to try and preserve it for them. I doubt you could find more than a handful of blacks left in town that appreciate jazz. The music of "their" people that has existed for 100 years

The cleave is so delusional at this point he believes jazz was created here, he’s a sick old man and needs to stay in his Washington basement for the rest of his life.

  40. White cop killing an unarmed black man is the only action that gets the big money going to the NAACP, BLM, etc. About 10 happened last year, while double that amount for whites killed. The 7,000 black-on-black killings last year are largely ignored. No one's toast gets buttered by the atrocity of black-on-black killings. Like everything else in life, it all goes back to $$$.
