KANSAS CITY MORE2 ACTIVISTS RAMP UP DEMANDS TO FIRE KCPD CHIEF SMITH!!!

There's a coalition working to replace KCPD Chief Smith and it seems they're gaining traction or at least attracting greater consideration as protests against police continue across the nation.

First, just a bit of background . . .

MORE2 is "a social justice organization representing different faith traditions, cultural backgrounds, races, and economic means. The organization included twelve congregations and has now grown to thirty-two congregations and many individual members. We are united in our commitment to transforming our communities, building a Kansas City area that embraces all people and offers everyone the opportunity to achieve their greatest potential."

Some locals might forget that their advocacy, protests and complaints helped to force the resignation the KCK Police Chief.

Given the current political climate in Kansas City, more people are signing on to their agenda and helping spread their message.

KCPD Chief Smith recently told media that he has no plans to resign. Accordingly, More2 has amplified their message and now demands the firing of the KCPD Chief over the topic of alleged police brutality and a controversial policy of putting officers involved in police shootings back on the streets more quickly than critics deep appropriate.

Remember, TKC gave equal time to supporters of the KCPD Chief.

Now, here's a glimpse at today's recent criticism from KC activists, insight into their agenda AND a message that is spreading far & wide through local activist circles.

More2 Denounce KCPD Chief Smith

This is what also happens with shootings. Chief Smith automatically sides with police officers NO MATTER WHAT. He puts them back to work in nine days or less... it is a pattern... not desk duty, back on patrol or UC (undercover). It is BAD, you guys.

On Jan 16th, at a meeting Organized by Gwen Grant (Urban League) I specifically said, to his face in front of Board of Police Commissioner Cathy Dean and their counsel, "Chief, What if Jean Peters-Baker indicts one of your officers who has shot someone and you have had them back to work... that would make you look REALLY BAD." and he flippantly said "I hadn't thought about that."

See, we were talking about how he had done this in the cases of Terrence Bridges (JPB took this to a Grand Jury!) and Cameron Lamb (*they are still telling us the investigation is not complete). Their officers were each put back to work in 9 days.

Then, Donnie Sanders was killed in March and we started a petition to keep the officer benched until the investigation was complete. Days later, a reporter called me saying he was BACK TO WORK. Now, we don't know their names and they are some of the same people ON DUTY with all of what you see here.

So, yes, we told him what the community he works for needs and he not only blatantly disregarded it, he did the exact same thing again. This is what you see. Pay attention. We are not the ones being unfair, HE IS. We are not the ones asking for too much, the Board of Police Commissioners is asking for too much to keep him on and "review his performance." How many more people will be killed when the guy in charge will have your back... no matter what?

#DonnieSanders
#CameronLamb

We have so many more things to say. Metro Organization for Racial and Economic Equity, Urban League of Greater Kansas City, and NAACP want organizations to stand with us.

  1. If he goes, we got local control.

Removing the chief is part of the equation.

    1. I think he has done better than many police leaders during the protests. This might be more of a political sacrifice.

    2. Does he get an $800,000 golden parachute like the last guy?

  2. "The community he works for"includes the majority of citizens who did not protest as well as the small minority of citizens who did protest. Hang in there, Smith, we've got your back. This will be over soon.

  3. MORE2 is a racist organization that hates white people.

  4. It's a step toward local control, and local control is a step toward grabbing control of the KCPD pension fund. This has NOTHING to do with brutality, or Smith's reaction to officer investigations, it's activists unknowingly doing the council's bidding... except Gwen, she knows what's up and is selling her soul for a council run next time around.

  9. Chief Smith is not the problem......

    The murderous blacks are.

  10. There ain’t no way Smith is leaving on his own. As long as police union supports him he is staying.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I’m guessing they already forgot that forte had just as many murders on his watch so bringing in another chief isn’t going to fix anything, replacing Petersucker and the fag judges with ones that are tough on crime will fix everything.

Ultimately this problem falls on the blacks and it can’t be fixed until they admit they are the problem.

  12. Every department needs to be headed by a black, illegal, muslim, tranny or LGBT woman. God Knows none of those ever commit an ISM or hatred towards anyone outside of their Minority. We are pure Nuts. Demanding everyone's head for no reason.

  13. If an "organization" of various churches feels it should tell the city how to run the police department, shouldn't the police department get to run the churches?
All these "DEMANDS" from people with no responsibilities for anything other than looking out for themselves and their financial interests.
This is a real test for the cowardly elected in KCMO and most of them have been utterly silent throughout.
Except for the "mayor", who has been spending time in public on his knees.
    What a truly pitiful sight.

  15. Why is it that the only people that get to have opinion are protesters. How about opening city committees for some open discussion.

  16. Chief smith then who and what's next...they will never be satisfied until kcmo is detroit.

  17. Holy fuck enough already. You fucks don’t get to fire anybody. There have been 8 murders since the PD started baby sitting you assholes and no one has gibpven a fuck.

  18. If KCPD Chief Smith gets forced out, then Mayor Lucas and Prosecutor Baker should be removed as well.

Lucas takes home over $144,000 in taxpayer dollars and his team solicits big contributions from out-of-town developers who get tax breaks for luxury housing projects.

Jean Peters Baker does a poor job of closing criminal cases. The prosecutors office hasn't made any meaningful improvement in case success rate in many years. Baker has been chummy with too many corrupt Jackson County players since being appointed by federal convict Mike Sanders to her position.

  23. I talked to a cop tonight and he said the biggest portion of the crowds has been out of town paid protesters, he said the crowds would have been at least fifty percent less than what they were. what was their purpose?

    ReplyDelete
  24. If he's so bad, why do they have to LIE to try to force him out?

    ReplyDelete
  25. KCK chief was much work. IF it is policy, change the policy don't go after somebody who is actually doing a good job.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Chief Rick is ok. Personally I think he’s kind of a di*k but I don’t blame him for the murder rate. That’s two generations, at least, of crappy parenting and demise of the family, mostly in neighborhoods of color. Cops can’t fix that. Neither can money.
But the BOPC gets to decide when Chief Rick goes, not BLM, or that craven crazy Gwen Grant, or the fake fat revs, or any of the usual suspects. When the protestors resort to blackmail or extortion, time to push the mute button on their demands.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Get local control of the police now.

    ReplyDelete
  28. The protesters in KC MO are from KC MO. Anyone that thinks otherwise thinks too highlight of them self. The police chief is a racist and needs to go. Despite the endless faults with Mayor Selfie he was out and about with the protesters. The police chief was not where to be found. The pursuit of local control will result in reforms, regardless. A police chief that will actually talk to black people is a start. The idiots up north of the river were babbling on about how he was meeting and greeting with the folks up north while the protesters were down south. Well that is the problem, the police chief avoid the problem. The police chief sets the tone for the entire police force.

  29. wheen the citizens start helping the police anbout all the black killings of blacks then and only then will the police start arresting the killers and believe me you should not want local control they tried that in the early years and it was as crooked as dogs hind leg alot of police on the take the younger blacks need there asses spank by there parents it dont take a gun to make a man
