KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Hand-washing is a major defense against COVID-19, which is why the Kansas City, Missouri, water department promised to halt shutoffs during the pandemic. Yet one Kansas City family says they initially fell through the cracks due to high water bills.
How can Lucas be expected to address high water bills, crappy streets, a rising homicide rate, snd municipal financial collapse when he just has to spend all that time making TV appearances encouraging "the metro" to have neighborhood tailgate parties?

Rising water bills??? But isn't that what the democrats in the city voted for? YES IT IS! And also the GO Bond that they got screwed with because they are so stupid they didn't figure it out that it was going to be more than $7.00 like some idiot posted before they voted GO on it. You want to blame someone??? Blame the ignorant democrats who have no idea what's going on, but vote how some crook like Sly James told them to.

ReplyDeleteSurely people can figure out how to wash their hands without excessive use of water: wet hands; turn water off; soap hands; lather soapy hands for 20 seconds; turn water on; wash soap off hands; turn water off.
ReplyDeleteWhen this Corona biz is all over, go into a public restroom and watch how many people wash their hands. Then report back on your technique working. As most people don't even rinse their hands. 20 seconds is about 19.9 seconds longer than you are going to get most people to perform.

$200 a month water bills, 25% property tax increase are whay happen when Socialist Democrats have complete control of a population like they do in Jackson County , Missouri.

ReplyDeleteMy water bill the last two months was higher than both my electric bill and natural gas bill. In fact, last month it was as much as both the gas and electric bill put together. This was a month with no outside watering and I'm a single person with little laundry use.

ReplyDeleteThe Water bills in KC must be higher than the meth heads. Because every where you travel in the Metro you will find very dirty people with no pride, but new cars that are clean.
ReplyDeleteThe $300 bill would be some 10-15 thousand gallons per month. Use less water... The high bills are (at least in part) due to the decades of defferred maintenance resulting in the feds suing Kansas City for dumping raw sewage into the river, the river which provides the drinking water. for what it is worth, the last bill was $75 for one person and I don't limit water usage.
