ReplyDeleteThe enrollment goals have always been a sham. UMKC has always been a "want-a-be" institution believing that big is always better. Instead they have repeatedly had embarrassing scandals... from fake accreditation awards to the latest housing embarrassments. Seems to be a systemic leadership issue at several key levels. Quality is not about enrollment numbers, but a quality reputation for high academic and management standards.
ReplyDeleteClasses there are very lopsided. You have a brilliant student on scholarship next to a GED on scholarship. Teacher can only go as fast as the slowest student, cannot leave anyone out. Total BS.
