Jackson County Fight For $15 FAIL???

Across social media we noticed very little support for this move when we posted the news FIRST ON TKC both local fast food union leaders and local activists seemed to politely ignore the courthouse progress. Here's a follow-up report:

Minimum hourly pay for Jackson County workers to rise to $15

KANSAS CITY, MO (AP) - Kansas City's Jackson County is boosting the minimum wage for its employees to $15 per hour over the next two years. The county said in a news release Monday that the increase is the result of a study that examined whether wages were competitive.

  3. This must be another ploy to raise property taxes. The service from the City or County isn’t any good compared to people who live in surrounding communities.
