Real update following recent stat game hype on the topic of local busted streets . . . Take a look:
Kansas City's pothole problems are back
The same sort of weather pattern we had last winter appears to be repeating this year. That's bad news for Kansas City roads.Among the worst potholes KMBC 9 News found Thursday were near 63rd Street and Prospect Avenue. They were bad enough that crews blocked them off with cones."You're talking about those ditches we've been running in that they call a pothole?
What do you mean the potholes are BACK? They never left.

ReplyDeleteIf you're evar on 68th street west of 169 up north pay particular attention to the newly paved streets, the first thing you’ll notice is how bumpy it is then you’ll see the potholes. It’s absolutely insane how bad this new asphalt road is, who was in charge of this disaster? They and all the staff involved need to be fired...... immediately
Don’t worry people, ward parkway is fine.....
ReplyDelete^^^^ OUCH!
ReplyDeleteHurts but true.
Yes, and they also pay more taxes on Ward Parkway. You and most likely every other person that replies are also most likely not paying any taxes after you figure everything up. You ever notice that ? He who squeals the most on taxes is the free cheeses with the most demands.
ReplyDeleteIn all fairness, Ward Parkway sucked this time last year.

ReplyDeletePothole problems are brought on by the racist mayor of Kansas City who had men apply to work on the streets after the city was advertising help needed, but refused to hire them because they were white. I would like to encourage people to get this out into the open!!!!!!! These men were experienced workers and able to do the work and were not hired! Call the mayors office and tell him racism is illegal. Lets take the city back from racist blacks who discriminate. Send a message to the Gov. and tell him the state needs to take over KC!
^^Whaaaa!! The potholes you guys!!!! Boo hooo!!! Whaaaaa!!! This triggers me so bad!!! No potholes ever, anywhere!!! Whaaaa!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe called 311 over a month ago. The only thing that happened is the pothole has gotten bigger and more have developed.
ReplyDelete^^Oh no!!! What do we do now??? I know, let's come on here and cry about it!!! yea!!!! Whaaaaa!!! Whaaaa!!!!! Potholes!!! i called and no one came!!! Whaaaaa!!! Boo hoo!
ReplyDeleteReed/Clever/James-Took money form the general fund and funded projects with zero to negative return to the City. 18th and Vine, Jazz Museum, MLK renaming of Paseo, City Grocery stores, Street Car. The road maintenance was deferred. Road maintenance has been underfunded for many years. KC needs to vote these thugs out of office.
ReplyDeleteAaaaand gopher chimes in at 8:14 and 9:07.
