  5. No vote.

But I'm worried FD will stuff the ballot boxes or scare people away from polls. It has happened that way in the past.

  9. 80%+ of metro residents have made the excellent choice NOT to live in KCMO, so with this, like other incompetently handled issues, they'll just sit back and laugh at the continuous buffoonery that passes for local government there.
Watch the KCMO celebrity-wannabee D-list political hacks get rolled by yet another special interest group and shaken down for millions.
When is the $350 million bike lane proposal coming?
    Hahahahaha!!

  10. Vote NO! Vote Hell No if it’s an option. KCFD bleeds the general fund of this city dry. Several of the highest paid city employees, including THE highest paid are KCFD employees, making almost $250k a year playing the overtime game. They stick the city with crap collective bargaining agreements that give KCFD double digit pay increases. They care about nothing but Local 42 and themselves. Don’t put any more money behind them. More than 72% of our general fund goes to public safety. And it’s never enough.

  12. WE can give free bus rides ($8 million ) but can't keep up with maintenance of our fire Dept. Vote NO

  13. VOTE NO! This department is so mismanaged, hence all of the overtime pay. Read up on how much money is spent. WAY OVERPAID!

  14. No. If they can send two or three big-ass trucks and an ambulance to every call, even those that are not actually fired, they pretty clearly don't need more money.

  15. Absolutely NO
