Will Kansas City Free Money Save Troost?!?!

More police protection, lights and better streets would help more but it's struggling merchants probably won't argue with cash given that retail is dead. Read more:

Black Mayor keeping the black folk happy

Those storefronts are empty for a reason. Not even $500,000 will fix the underlying problems. The stores will be vacant again when the money runs out.

KC has a real problem child on their hands it's not up to the tax payers to put new facades on buildings. That would be like you paying for updating my house.
Pretty sure this is not legal.

Bullet proof siding....get it nnnoooowww.

the only thing that would fix troost is giving white people free housing between troost and paseo. Other than that you're just dumping money down our failing sewers

Lucas and the KCMO gang look like they're trying to keep up with the Democratic presidential candidates vying too see who can promise to give more free things away.
Of course, the federal government can print money and its borrowing power is almost unlimited.
KCMO, on the other hand, can borrow and give away only so much before the lines cross and even MORE is siphoned from basic services to paying for past debt.
Bankruptcy happens slowly and then very quickly.
And the KCMO financial vortex is swirling.

Did it work for 18th & Vine? Just paying off some business contributor with tax payer money. SSDD

$500.000 isn’t enough?!!! WTF! Meanwhile the City is gifting Waddell & Reed millions. What in the actual fuck?!!!!

The only thing that will save Troost is relocating about 150,000 certain people to Africa.

Hey, look how much free money has done for 18th & Vine. A shining example of black corruption gone unchecked. We can have the same thing on Troost. Is this city great or what!
