KCMO and Jackson County are such Democratic Party shitholes that political leaders just naturally assume that nobody is paying attention and they can practice graft/corruption at their leisure.
JoCo KS money actually calls the shots in KCMO for important issues, and the Mayor/Council fight for the scraps and publicity.
At the County, after Sanders went to prison (spend more time with family) look who came in! A baseball player with a high school education, who proceeded to fuck up everything, and has now brought in Troy Schulte who was about to be booted out of KCMO City Hall.
