After being shut down by the KCFD, the developer claimed the project was blighted, and City Hall immediately granted tax abatement, CID status, and offered to pay for a new parking garage!!!

  3. How the hell did the Aztecs, Myans and Egyptians built pyramids without the wheel, cranes or any modern construction equipment and better success than the builders of a lousy parking garage

  4. Come on man... The Azatecs, Myans and Egyptians invented the wheel and cranes. You have a good point.

  5. There’s a church in New Mexico made of adobe built in 1699 but a parking garage won’t last how long?

  6. 10:37 The church is only used on Sunday and occasionally during the week to give blowjobs to altar boys.

  7. Non union jobs using non english speaking workers. You get what you pay for.

  8. The comments are nonsensical. The condos are the old Trinity Lutheran Hospital re-fabrication. The complex is a pay as you go re-fabrication and the developer never completed the project. Turning an old hospital into high end condos is a lot of work and a lot of money and the developer had neither. The building standards for the current work is substandard at best. Existing infrastructure issues will never be addressed. The entire complex should have been leveled but the city was too stupid to recognize the scam. Sad state of affairs for the individuals with $300,000 mortgages on a condo worth nothing.
