KANSAS CITY CHIEFS EXPOSED!!! EMBARRASSING 31-24 DEFEAT CONCLUDES SEASON OF QB PATRICK MAHOMES HYPE!!!

The Kansas City Chiefs have effectively concluded their season with a loss that revealed weakness in nearly every aspect of their game.
Sure, the team earned a few great plays for commercial highlight adverts but they didn't display the consistent and serious effort required of true champions.
To wit . . .
IT'S OVER!!! KANSAS CITY CHIEFS CAN'T COMPETE FOR THE SUPER BOWL WITH THIS KIND OF DISAPPOINTING PLAY!!!
A few things we noticed in order to compare notes with the sports fan among our blog community . . .
- The secret is out: The Chiefs can't defend against the run. Whilst the NFL is mostly a passing game, every team has a high priced and powerful running back ready to exploit this dangerous weakness.
- The secondary is all hype as well. They gave up the last play of the game and were picked part throughout the afternoon.
- The O-Line is paper thin. The Texans harassed Mahomes all day and he caved under the pressure.
- QB Patrick Mahomes is a pickup "all-flash" player who, so far, displays little substance, leadership ability or serious weapons other than no-look trick plays.
- Kietzman vindicated???

Remember that earlier this year legendary KC sports talker Kevin Kietzman was CANCELLED for a callous analogy regarding the work ethic of the team but his observation about the lack of discipline displayed by the Chiefs resonates now more than ever. What we witnessed today was a collection of millionaires who don't have a singular vision or goal . . . An erratic group of talented players without any guiding philosophy.
Punchline . . .
QB PATRICK MAHOMES IS BETTER AT SELLING KETCHUP AND MAKING COMMERCIALS THAN LIVING UP TO HIS SPONSORED CONTENT HYPE!!!
For tonight we'll share a few of our favorite links on the topic and we'd love to highlight some of the better, more intelligent perspectives from our blog community for the morning update.

Team Play 'Pitiful' Say Fanboys
Kansas City Chiefs look downright pitiful in loss to the Houston Texans
The scoreboard will tell you that the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon. What it won't tell you is just how bad the Chiefs looked while doing so.
Second Guessing Kansas City
Kansas City Chiefs drop second game in a row, fall 31-24 to Houston Texans
TOLL ON EVERYONE. ESPECIALLY TIGHT END TRAVIS KELCE. KAREN KORNACKI EXPLAINS. WE HAVE ALL TALKED ABOUT TRAVIS KELCE AND ERIC BEINIEMY ON THE SIDELINES OF LAST WEEK'S GAME. TODAY, WE HEARD FROM THE OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR. ONE THING I WILL SAY IS, TRAV IS A VERY PASSIONATE INDIVIDUAL.
Fans In The Know Disgusted
Chiefs-Texans Instabreakdown: terrible play calling and worse tackling
Another embarrassing loss at home for the Chiefs. Andy Reid has some explaining to do. A horribly called second half on offense was accented by the worst tackling display I've seen in my time following the Chiefs. Nothing is going right.
Empty Highlights Always Help Sell Season Tickets To Suckers
Hill returns to action with 2 TDs in Chiefs' loss
8:22 PM GMT Adam TeicherESPN Staff Writer Close Covered Chiefs for 20 seasons for Kansas City Star Joined ESPN in 2013 KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Tyreek Hill made an impressive return to the Kansas City Chiefs' lineup Sunday, catching five passes for 80 yards.
KANSAS CITY CONTROLLED!!!
Texans control clock, stun Chiefs
EditorsNote: Corrects to 2015 in second graf; several other minor changes, including in penultimate graf Houston quarterback Deshaun Watson passed for 280 yards and accounted for three touchdowns Sunday as the Texans handled the Chiefs 31-24 at Kansas City, Mo., on Sunday.
Kansas City Problems Persist
Instant analysis of Chiefs' Week 6 loss to Texans
The Kansas City Chiefs dealt with more of the same problems against the Houston Texans in Week 6, losing 31-24. The defense continued to struggle and failed to get a stop when it mattered most, the offensive line struggled to protect Patrick Mahomes, and the entire team played wholly undisciplined football - with 11 penalties totaling 79 yards on the day.
Paper Jumps Off Bandwagon
Chiefs fans disgusted and mad about team's 31-24 loss to Texans
Hey, the first quarter went really well for the Chiefs, right? That's not much of a silver lining, of course, because there isn't much to be happy about following the Chiefs' 31-24 loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.
Remember The Love . . .
Kansas City Chiefs Get Into The Keepsake Poster Game For Their 60th Anniversary
To help celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs' 60th year, the franchise has asked area artists to design retro game day posters to raise money for area charities. The idea was inspired by other major league franchises such as the NBA's Portland Trailblazers, which sold locally designed posters at each of its 41 regular season home games and into the playoffs.
And so . . .

Despite it all we advise our blog community to remember that IT'S JUST A GAME and nothing more or less than a fun distraction from local real life. For some, the disappointment can feel genuine but look outside and notice that life goes on, the Autumn weather is wonderful in Kansas City right now and there are plenty of other things to worry about, enjoy and consider on this beautiful Sunday.
You decide . . .
Better title for you TKC:
ReplyDeleteThe king of ketchup dethroned.
Are we even halfway through the season?
DeletePretty early to give up but I guess that's what KC does every time. THAT is why they are not champions.
Fun post, look forward to Steve St. John yelling at everyone who questions his wisdom or the team tomorrow.
DeleteGood grief, I knew you haters would have a field day after a second loss but this is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteTKC, even your supporters know that it is EARLY in the season.
If the Chiefs would have won you would have said it was a "meaningless" early game. But they lost so you are hyper-critical.
The season is long and the Chiefs have the potential to make a great comeback which will make the truly great. Readers will remember that you gave up on the team early in the season.
^^^^ You seem like a very hopeful young man Gobi. Seen your posts and know you like the team.
DeleteAlso, would you like to buy a bridge. Got one for sale in kC!
Thing of it is, it's not just a game. The success of the team is used to justify tax breaks, development and charging fans outrageous fees for parking that go straight into Jackson County coffers. KC has a very real investment in the team's success and if they dominate the airwaves when they win, they need to be held accountable when they lose or their marketing is exposed as bunk.
ReplyDelete^^^ +100
DeleteWatson > Mahomes
ReplyDeleteThank you Chiefs fans for donating $60 to park your beater at Arrowhead. What a piece of junk you drive ! Hope you enjoyed spending $200 on a ticket to sit your fat ass in our comfy plastic folding chair. You deserve the best Chiefs fan ! How was the $10 beer ? Most of all; thank you Chiefs taxpayer for building me a stadium and renovating it every five years.
ReplyDeleteTo all of you Chiefs fans and Jackson County taxpayers, my family wishes you a joyous holiday season and from your family to our's thank you for lining the Hunt family's pockets with $ Billions of your hard earned dollars. We'll get 'em next year; don't give up Chiefs fan !
Best Regards
Clark Hunt (son of Lamar)
P.S. Be sure to tune into 810 WHB on Tuesday night to listen to my lackey, good ol' Mitch Holthus, blow some more smoke up your ass Chiefs Kingdom ! Remember Chiefs fan; I always win regardless of the score!
Clark
^^^^ OUCH!
DeleteNow THAT is some damn good satire. Look and learn, TKC. Harsh but still fair.
Watson come here, Chiefs need you
ReplyDeleteOH CHIMPY KE8EGWCE NS8DGEB BEHEVE HEUE WODB HEIED7EB HE8W!!!
ReplyDeletefive passes for 80 yards.
ReplyDeleteWow
Worse D than last year. I didn't know that was possible.
ReplyDeleteLook at the bright side, the Broncos had seven sacks today and that is who we got Thursday. Um, short passes and roll outs ? Or not good enuf?
ReplyDeleteTyrek still has a chance to break an arm.
ReplyDeleteJust run the ball against the Chiefs. Game over.
ReplyDeleteAlthough he might have harped on Andy for too many hours on 810, Kevin Kietzman nailed this one. This is on Andy because a defense should never be neglected for this long. The head coach should make sure of that. The lines on both sides of the ball are disasters. The linebacking core is horrible. When your defense is ranked 30th out of 32 teams against the run, you are not going anywhere. Even if the Chiefs are lucky enough to make the playoffs, they are once again doomed.
ReplyDelete^^^ True and true. Maybe the improvement the chiefs really need is in the coaching department.
ReplyDeleteKevin Kietzman didn't nail anything. Kevin Kietzman is a douchebag who talked too much shit and got canned like he should have.
ReplyDeleteThe Chiefs just aren't very good
We'll get'em next year!
ReplyDeleteThe quarterback should spend a little less time acting and a little more time loosing football games... Oh wait.
ReplyDeleteSpags was a bad idea! His history proves he sucks as defensive coaching and if I am wrong why is he here and not still there!, but ole fat fuck Andy had to bring another "Buddy on Board" at the cost of the fans and the team. As far as "We'll get'em next year" - dont count on it, but if this is another shit season, what you can count on is a New Head Coach next season, and Spags the fag going back to where ever the fuck he came from along with a plethra of other firings! We have the talent finally, now all we need is the god damn leadership to make shit happen!! And Just like with the Royals it happened once, and even that head clown is getting out of the biz, because he know he can't do it again. On Thursday we play Denver and if we lose that one, the rest of the season will be apparent.
ReplyDeleteDespite it all we advise our blog community to remember that IT'S JUST A GAME and nothing more or less than a fun distraction from local real life. ReplyDeleteYou decide . . . Tony I did, and what I came up with is this: yes its JUST a game, BUT ACTUALLY IT ISNT! The money these players, coaches and owners make off this shit is rediculious. Hard working people pay the salaries of these players and coaches, and when they dont perform like we expect them too, we have a right to get pissed about it. The rest of us go to our 9-5 in a few hours to get the dribble pay after the KINGS take their cut, I dont go to these games because I cant afford to, but I do support the team by buying licensed Chiefs NFL gear when I can. The point is Tony this is beyond "just" a game for most people, and for many fans Winning games at Arrowhead is like winning "something" in a city that loses year after year on everything else.
Again, I don't get the Mahomes hate. People just look for shit to bitch about in this day and age.
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe this loss had something to do with, I don't know, a couple key injuries? It's the NFL and it's next man up but not having Chris Jones on run D and Eric Fisher on O among others is taking it's toll.
50 years of no super bowling continues, year 51 coming in January 2020!
ReplyDeleteChiefs need to get the losses out of the way early. Too much pressure from last year. Better to deflate the unreal expectations now so the tram can get down to real business.
ReplyDeleteChiefs will still go the the playoffs and have a decent shot at homefeild throughout.
Fair weather fans are silly. Mahomes is a truly gifted QB but his offensive line needs some inspiration.
^^^ RUBE
ReplyDeletehah hah hah hah hah
The defense is horrible. The defensive talent is horrible. It's not Spag's fault -- at least not yet. The fault belongs on Veach, Reid and the recruiting staff. They need beefier linebackers to stop these running backs. Lightweight linebackers can't pull down a strong back. Most of the money is on the offensive side. Wathcing the defense now reminds me of when we played Manning's Colts in the playoffs and they didn't have to punt once.
