COWTOWN WAR ZONE!!! KANSAS CITY HITS 121 HOMICIDES ON RECORD-BREAKING PACE FOR 2019 AFTER TRIPLE MURDER!!!
Last year at this time there were only 110 homicide.
They year before that, when Kansas City nearly broke a 25+ year record KCMO had only recorded 116 at this point on the calendar.
2016 saw only 97 homicides at this point.
In 2015 there were a mere 86 murders around this same date.
To wit and akin to the recent gun fight in Mexico over El Chapo's son . . .
THERE'S NO DENYING THE HISTORIC BLOOD BATH ON KANSAS CITY STREETS RIGHT NOW & EVERY POLITICO WHO DOESN'T MAKE CURBING LOCAL VIOLENCE THEIR TOP PRIORITY SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM OFFICE!!!
Our blog community has made one simple suggestion consistently: Kansas City needs more cops on the streets.
KCMO FAILED to keep a police staffing promise made back in 1968 when police shared a manpower goal of 1500. The number of guns and amount of drugs on local streets as grown exponentially since that time but KC is still about 200 officers below that benchmark right now.
More to the point . . .
This week Kansas City politicos were more concerned with financing luxury towers, talking social justice and espousing DNC talking points on LGBT issues rather than addressing the WAR on local streets.
And so, here's another roundup of the carnage overnight as we approach a weekend of decent weather more urban core danger.
