Continued hype after this college suffered one of the worst right-wing rebukes in the history of modern higher education. Big money Conservatives pretty much DECIMATED the funding and support for this state school because of their alleged waffling in the midst of a social justice controversy and complaints. Now here's another look at the effort to rebuild:
Mizzou enrollment up for the first time since 2015 controversy
COLUMBIA, MO (KCTV) -- Enrollment at the University of Missouri has increased for the first time since its national controversy in 2015 concerning racial issues and equality on campus. The jump in total enrollment is about 1 percent, but freshman enrollment is up 16 percent from 2018 to 2019.
It's a "Dumbed Down" college that caters to "Woke" studies and fucks people out of money for useless degrees.
ReplyDeleteEnrollment is up since Mizzou became Grambling of the Midwest. Literacy is way down. The number of black students attending for free is way up.
ReplyDeleteBut..but..but..we had a narrative on here! Mizzou was supposed to be done, finished, over. What happened????? Where did we go wrong??? I don't understand it, everyone on here was wrong! How can that be??? I mean sure we're old, out-of-touch, living in an echo chamber, shut-ins and not very worldly, but we had a narrative!!!!!
ReplyDeleteUMKC Marketing Department will sell it as... Einstein Level Freshman flock to UMKC from all over the world and will need a Streetcar to commute from their 375 SqFt River Market Apartments.
ReplyDelete^^^ Mizzoo had no choice after their idiotic cave to Blacks, now, they have to edumucate them and, as 9:03 said, "Dumb Down" the curricula.
ReplyDelete9:08, yeah, just what every college needs, an enormous influx of black high school students who are mystified by Long Division and have attitudes.
ReplyDeleteWhat could go wrong?
^^^I don't know chump...maybe learning????
ReplyDeleteChimpy! Your iq doesn't allow for human style learning lol
DeleteMizzou and KU need to pump out more people with Gender Studies degrees. How could we possibly fill all the open job that require a gender studies skillset?
ReplyDelete^^I don't know, as your worthless kids for the answer to that.
ReplyDeleteEasy to show enrollment going up when you hand out scholarships like candy at Halloween.
ReplyDeleteBeing a 2003 Mizzou grad in civil engineering I deserve more respect for my intellect and academic pedigree than i am currently getting from you shitheads on this blog.

ReplyDeleteLOL increased marketing to KCMO and ST. Louis - is either district accredited. The article fails to address the quality of the new and increased enrollment, were standards lowered? What is the SAT average of the new students compared to past classes?
college is a joke, pure clown world. pay 100k to get a good job.
ReplyDeleteMIZZOU is doing fine. It's bigger than both Ks schools (maybe combined), has better academics, more diverse, draws from two major cities (even has a system campus in each!), and is a member of the best athletic conference in the country.
ReplyDelete^^^ There are nothing but monkeys in Mizoo.
ReplyDeleteMizzou abandoned the region to become a wanna be in the SEC. Something for them to laugh about in Georgia, Alabama and Florida. What a bunch of a-holes.
ReplyDelete2:35 The KCMO school district is bigger than the KS Blue river school district - where would you rather have your kids attend?
ReplyDeleteBe MU
ReplyDeleteCave to non-students chimping out
Enrollment plummets with no end in sight
Years pass and alumni are embarrased about the university
Lower standards for admission to pump up the numbers by attracting students who wouldn't have been able to meet the standards 10 years prior
Claim victory
Way to go
