Kansas City 'No Fare' Push Persists

  7. The article is incorrect. The fares collected is said to be $8 million and the total budget is said to be $100 million. Improve the service first to increase ridership. The buses are empty... what is the point? Free or not the ridership wont increase due to poor service. Those that cannot afford the bus have endless options for a free pass today.

^^ Actually If they have a job or those who are retired, the taxes they pay makes that NOT a free ride. Anyone without a job....the free bus service would actually be a free trash relocating service with multiple pick ups and drop off's...nothing more, nothing less.

  10. The free buses will fill with bums who ride them to avoid the cold or heat. The stench will be nearly unbearable. But at least it will free up some sitting space at the library.
