TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! TAX FIGHTER BENCHMARKS FOR NEW KANSAS CITY MAYOR QUINTON LUCAS REVEALED!!!

It's payback time in Kansas City and Mayor Quinton Lucas has a lot of favors to return as he barely won against one of the most unpopular politicos in Missouri history.

To wit . . .

FIRST ON TKC WE'VE GOT A SNEAK PEEK AT THE LIST OF KANSAS CITY TAX FIGHTER DEMANDS CONFRONTING MAYOR QUINTON LUCAS IN AN ATTEMPT TO KEEP HIM HONEST RATHER THAN PLAY NICE!!!

Here's the word . . .

"We'll be sending Mayor Quinton Lucas a list of policy goals and imperatives which merit his attention. The list will be forwarded to Council, local media and the Mayor's office in order to document how the New Mayor can be effective in his job and best fulfill his ambitious agenda."

Again, here's 1st look ahead of local media presser coverage . . .

HIRE MORE POLICE NOW!!!

In 1968 the KCPD promised to maintain 1500 officers on local streets. We're still 200 short of that 50 year old pledge and the recent homicide spike demonstrates the numbers are desperately needed.

Nobody expects Mayor Quinton to magically reduce the number of local murders already on a historic pace . . . But after earning a crucial police endorsement, the new Administration is obligated to pay back law enforcement and direct even more funding their way.

FIRE CITY MANAGER TROY SCHULTE!!!

Just as we predicted, City Manager Troy isn't going to step down without a fight. Here's an important fun fact:

There are more entrenched and influential bureaucrats loyal to City Manager Troy Schulte then there are supporters of Quinton Lucas at City Hall. However if Mayor Q doesn't get rid of City Manager Troy, then he has tacitly admitted he's powerless.

Watch this fight escalate QUICKLY and remember our blog community started it behind the scenes.

REJECT THE DOWNTOWN STADIUM!!!

This is a 3-year-goal for the new mayor because the push is on quickly to take advantage of his team of millennial twerps. Turnaround on the stadium issue would be devastating for Mayor Q but not unheard of . . . Heck, even Prez Trump is talking gun control, so anything is possible.

Steering the new mayor clear of developer promises on the new stadium is a priority for tax fighters but the fact is they're out-manned, underfunded and don't have an alternative economic stimulus plan for the upcoming recession. Already we've seen the new Mayor get cozy with developer advocates via his social media feeds hinting that his move to the big money corporate welfare KCMO agenda might be underway.

And so . . .

Better than pundit or policy analysts we ask our blog community . . .

WHAT IS YOUR BENCHMARK FOR MAYOR QUINTON LUCAS SUCCESS?!?!

Happy talk is easy for newsies and political hacks but we believe our blog community can do better than the status quo discourse in holding this mayor accountable for his campaign rhetoric.

Developing . . .

  1. Sure, Quinton could fire Troy but that would be self destructive. It actually shows that the new mayor is very smart at effectively running city hall.

    1. ^^^ Wrong. Shows that he's scared.

  2. Schulte's time has passed. He was Funk's manager. Plus, he's an assole and as dishonest as the day is long. Lucas would be wise to replace him.

  3. I'm 100 percent for a downtown baseball stadium and you all can suck my dick and fucking like it

    1. No thanks, If Quinton says yes to the stadium, I'm guessing you can ask him and get the response you're looking for.

    2. Fuck your stupid jockstrap sniffing hobby.

  4. Hiring more police should be priority #1.

If Quinton does this before the year is out then he is making good progress. This should be the first step in reducing violence.

  5. Fire Troy Schulte! Give him that golden parachute and get rid of him! Send him to the next city. And find someone who actually knows what they are doing to replace him.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Q's already the best Mayor KCMO ever had! Look at everything he's accomplished in just 12 days! Sleep over with KC Tenants, a prayer for peace service with Jean Baker, he attended the Hot Dog Festival, and has lot's of great tweets!

    1. And he still has time to suck some dick in Lawrence. How about that?

  7. more cops would be a good start but they have to have the authority and support to get the job done. Will the new mayor do that? That's the bigger question.

    ReplyDelete
  8. More cops. Not just any cops, but bad ass racist cops who are ready to beat some ghetto hood rats. I’m talking broken faces and fractured skulls.

    ReplyDelete
  9. We're going to have the downtown stadium like it or not. There's nothing any of you geezers can do to stop it. The city moves on without you and your opinions don't matter in the least. You will not be consulted.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Fire Troy and replace him with the fired Lee's Summit superintendent.

    ReplyDelete
  11. @11:43 wants the downtown stadium in the worst way so he won't have to drive all the way to Kauffman to sell peanuts.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Agree with @11:20 and ensure they have plenty of range time to keep those barrels warm. They should srongly enforce Quinton's stop and frisk.

    ReplyDelete
  13. @12:11-Those peanut vendors make more in 6 months than your whole Social Security checks for the year. Sorry geezer, not sorry.

    1. 12:24's confused bigly from guzzling toilet water. His "jobs" as "penis" vendor in the BathHouse between innings don't pay enough for his own and his husband's game tickets. They somehow find a way to munch a couple "bags of nuts", though.

  14. TKC - “barely won”

    Try 60-40 win

  15. Fire Troy
    More Police
    No Downtown Stadium
    No More TIF's
Make a formal demand That Jean Baker either does her job in a timely manner on convictions and stops handing out probations like Halloween candy or kick her butt to the curb.

    ReplyDelete
  16. ^^Huh? Sorry, I don't speak retard.

    ReplyDelete
  17. hey stupid dave-since you don't EVEN live in KC, we will kindly file your suggestions where they belong. The circular file.

    ReplyDelete
  18. All entire time Lucas was on the city council, you never heard a single word about any of the issues like safe neighborhoods, addressing the homicide catastrophe, maintaining streets, sky-high water bills, or any of the other "issues" that he campaigned for mayor on.
Now we're supposed to believe that he'll actually try to deliver?
The stop and frisk announcement was a good start, but the pressures from the usual urban core suspects, Chamber of Commerce swell, developers, and all the other insider city hall "denizens" has barely begun.
Doing much of anything different will take some serious guts.
So, it's showtime at 12th and Oak!
    I wouldn't hold my breath.

    ReplyDelete
  19. 2:26 stop being stupid, have no idea where you get your facts but you have failed miserably again which isn't new coming from you.

    ReplyDelete
  20. ^^What's in dispute dipshit (stupid dave)??? Stupid dave does NOT live in KC. His opinions(yours) are worthless. Case closed.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Case open again.

    ReplyDelete
  22. He should cancel the streetcar extension.

    ReplyDelete
  23. KCPD can only kill someone every 90 days before the citizens rise up and burn down Two Light Tower. Property owners need to take responsibility and stop expecting the people who pay taxes to keep looking out for their property investment. Man up or clear the title.

    ReplyDelete
  24. 3:47 how about proving you have a say in anything?

    I'm waiting?

    Still waiting?

Just what I thought, how about you STFU!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Quinton Lucas should demand state audits of all KC operations. To include the Port Authority.
Parallel audits should be done by a national accounting firm without ties to KC chamber.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yes. Do reject the downtown stadium. I don’t know what group is pushing that but its severely misguided.

    ReplyDelete
  27. More cops will help, but the prosecutors office must step up too

    ReplyDelete
  28. The city manager needs to go. He has lost the respect of employees with his lying and deceitful business and management practices. Employees are required to watch ethics training videos on blue collar issues, while no training is done on white collar ethical areas that severely affect public trust. He has become corrupted by his ability to continually lie and go unchallenged by the council, media and totally clueless citizens.

    ReplyDelete
  29. 90% of the employees would love to see him go.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Eventually, he will be gone.... The question is how much damage will he be able to do with the next budget? He will saying and doing more maneuvering than ever to cover his mess with the new mayor and council.

Once he is gone, the truth of his cost saving consolidations and outsourcing will be exposed.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Will the new mayor and council pay a greater level of attention to employee lawsuits? Or will they go into close session and accept the word of the city manager and law department employees that report to him?

Why has the Human Resources department be allowed to abandon their responsibility to process all EEO and grievances in a consistent and timely manner? Oh, that’s right, they report to the city manager too.

  32. Troy is a cocksucker, and a KCFD and Local 42's butt boi, that dude has had so much cock down his throat even throat cancer doesnt want anything to do with him. Funkhouser loved that gay peice of shit, Troy the boi City Manager has failed this city, and his wife wants to know how she ended up with HIV, but thats a family matter, I am sure it will get worked out.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Dang 9:02 you got real mean ....

Anyway, I’d say fix streets and bridges and budget for that looming sanitary/storm sewer bill that the past three mayors have punted on. Please no more money wasted on bike activists pet projects we would all be better off - bikes and motorists- with better roads and street sweepers every now and then then these fads. And ease up on taking on huge debt and abatement for luxury dwellings downtown that’s just real stupid public policy.

    Thanks,
    Radish

    ReplyDelete
  34. City manager said if he was fired “he’d sleep better and make more money”, so why would he want to stay? That was a unique insight to his perspective about his job. Why would the mayor and council what a city manager with that view?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Mark Funkhouser, once referred to Troy Schulte as an “honest broker”, I wonder if that would still apply. The city manager should be bound by ethical standards like all city employees. It is difficult to be a city employee, required to live in the city and see some of the actions of top city management. If you don’t support Troy Schulte in every way, he will ruin your credibility and either have you fired or exiled.

    ReplyDelete
  36. success would be fixing the things that are broke
    no more big ticket items
    reduce TIFs
    lower our debt
be able to run the city with out the E-tax
population 500,000 and 1.7 Billion budget?
