All work on the Rock Island Corridor has come to a halt after a federal agency said Jackson County is at fault for how the hiking and biking trail was built, revoking the county's ability to do any more work.

ReplyDeleteThis is an adjacent landowner money grab pure and simple. They weren't concerned with their easement when the railroad let it grow up into 10 foot tall weeds. Now that it has been improved and people are using it, they want cash.
