TKC TOLD YOU SO!!! ROCK ISLAND CORRIDOR SHUT DOWN!!!

It was always vaporware and the brainchild of a dude who is still doing time in the Federal pen. Now, a big part of this pipe dream has been CANCELLED by the Feds despite fanboy hype from Kansas City metro transit activists. Take a look:

Federal ruling stops work on Rock Island Corridor

All work on the Rock Island Corridor has come to a halt after a federal agency said Jackson County is at fault for how the hiking and biking trail was built, revoking the county's ability to do any more work.

Incarcerated former Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders is learning welding while in prison.

Since he screwed this up from the start, maybe as part of his restitution he can weld all the old rails back in place!

This is an adjacent landowner money grab pure and simple. They weren't concerned with their easement when the railroad let it grow up into 10 foot tall weeds. Now that it has been improved and people are using it, they want cash.

Can Jackson county get anything right these days?
