SHAME!!! JACKSON COUNTY PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENT CARTOON MIGHT BE BIGGEST SLAP IN THE FACE KANSAS CITY VOTERS HAVE EVER ENDURED!!!
This explainer video on the website has recently met with universal rebuke . . .
TV news reports that it cost about $2K to make which is actually really cheap.
What's worse are the inaccuracies in the clip which ignore the role of the Missouri State Tax Commission in assessment and the recent call for the State to rescue the county from Exec Frank White.
Still, it's worth a look if only to see how clueless Team Frank has become . . .
Developing . . .
This is a joke right? Or a comedy skit someone put together?
ReplyDeleteThe morons that looked at that and thought it was a good idea to patronize angry taxpayers should just delete themselves.
ReplyDeleteHas the Jackson Co legislation watched this video? They didn't even follow their own instructions by lowering the tax rate based upon the new assessment to meet their budget.
ReplyDeleteThis addresses nothing.

ReplyDeleteThis was laziness and discrimination. They accessed properties based on pictures and who knows what else, it makes now sense. Properties that sell for more money in Hyde Park were taxed less and properties that sell for less because of their location were taxed more, even when they are smaller houses.
But... but... Frank was such a great baseball player!
ReplyDelete8:15, hey now, Hyde park went up 200% so don’t go spreading fake news about how we got off with lower assessments. I think we were one of the harder hits in the county!
ReplyDeleteWhat a load of propaganda POOP!
ReplyDeleteTrying to sell this feigned fairness and those supposed ethical motives to assess values for properties FAILS! Very many shared their tax assessment data with family, friends, and other fellow taxpayers to uncover the debacle. Mr Smith did a Ralph Nader on the liars and fakers!
So, everybody now knows Franky looks to have somehow finessed a heck of a low-down deal for his attorney bud, Ken McMegaMillions. This cartoon crap is a slap to the face of tormented taxpayers!
hahahahahahha who made this stupid shit. Wow talk about out of touch. This will only anger people even more
ReplyDeleteA guy who says he works with "investors" just offered us $95K for our house which doubled to $295K when we opened the envelope and saw the assessment.
ReplyDeleteThese would be the great Frank PR Team in action. What a cluster.
ReplyDelete12:55 - $295K is not double of $95K
ReplyDeleteIf this isnt the dumbest thing I have seen...who paid for this bit of false marketing? If these are all of the duties of the assessor, it just shows that she didnt do her job. Why are we dwelling on this? Fire her... Period.
