KANSAS CITY, KANSAS POLICE CHIEF ZEIGLER ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT AMID PROTESTER OUTRAGE & INVESTIGATION!!!

Call this a conclusion of an important career OR another victory for the More2 movement . . .

Kansas City, Kansas Police Chief Terry Zeigler announced Wednesday afternoon he will retire on September 11, 2019 after 29 years of service with the department.

"It has been an honor to serve the citizens of Kansas City, Kansas and the men and women of the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department for the last four and a half years as chief of police," police,” Zeigler said in a news release.

This comes just over a month after protesters in KCK demanded for Zeigler to be fired for alleged negligence and corruption.

Zeigler is also being investigated for allegedly "double dipping." The Kansas Bureau of Investigation turned over the case to the Wyandotte County District Attorney's Attorney’s office back in May.

Remember that a few weeks ago we reported More2 and their supporters gathering to voice longstanding complaints over alleged discrimination and a freebie house controversy:

  5. the girls who worked at DST Systems Inc and had sex with their managers to raises and promotions are just as bad as this guy. Sooner or later the truth comes out. People have not forgotten all names of the men the the girls slept with. Or the marital problems it caused.

  6. You think the retirement date is just a coincidence? Wrap yourself in the cloak of 9/11 and let the police state roll on, baby. Call out the tanks, warrantless searches of drivers licenses photos and wanna be warriors called local cops killing hapless civilians. Roll Tide!

  7. I wouldn't call myself a "social justice warrior" by any stretch of the imagination but even I realize that it was time for the KCK Chief to go. He represented an ancient constituency in KCK and didn't have much luck transitioning into the future. He was a dinosaur and the way he responded to criticism made the obvious. I wish him well, he probably still has a lot to teach KCK police but it's definitely time to move forward.
